About Me

Barbara: As a writer and teacher I thought it would be a good idea to write down as many of the good ideas and teacher wisdom that I have collected over the years. My plan was to record these insights so I could easily access and share them. We teachers instinctively keep our eyes and ears open for new information and for better ways to teach and learn. Information like that is the fuel that keeps us energized. When I first started teaching, researching, reading curriculum, etc. I remember thinking that the best lessons also taught me new content and made me want to try the lessons right away with my students. I added to InsightOnsight teaching resources that I have heard about over the years and used. I have also added independent study course guides that I wrote. I've also added to this blog's focus requested recipes, photos of food and my hand-drawn cartoons! I look forward to hearing from you.
